An elderly woman has been removed from a chair after haven lived in it for a year.

The woman, from Ohio, was rescued by paramedics after a church volunteer who takes food to her regularly called to inform the police ‘she was not acting herself’ and he had not seen her anywhere else but that chair on each of his visits.

The paramedics perceived a strong stench from outside and on getting inside, they noticed she was surrounded by her very own feces and urine and proceeded to remove her from the chair. Due to her long stay in the chair, her bones could be heard breaking as she was being removed and she screamed out in pains.

She is currently receiving treatment at the University of Toledo.
